A leading Consultant in Laparoscopic & GI Surgeon since 2013, specializing in General Surgery, Advanced Laparoscopic procedures and Breast Surgeries. He completed his MBBS at A.N. Magadh Medical College, Gaya & he worked as an Emergency Medical Officer in New Delhi before undergoing advanced training in laparoscopic & GI surgery during his DNB residency at R.N. Tagore International Institute of Cardiac Sciences (RTIICS), Kolkata. To further enhance his skills, he served as a Senior Resident at the same institute, then progressed to Junior Consultant at RTIICS and later became an Associate Consultant at Narayana Multispecialty Hospital, Jessore Road, Kolkata. Currently, he is a Consultant Surgeon at Neotia Getwel Multispeciality Hospital (NGMH), Siliguri. Dr. Gourav holds fellowships from IAGES and AMASI and a diploma in Bariatric Surgery & he is an active member of surgical associations like ASI, AMASI, IAGES, IHS & SELSI. He is very passionate about teaching and has taught many junior surgical residents and paramedical students.
